In Don’t Give Up Your Day Job this article is talking about the many women throughout the world being stuck in the situation to pick either take care of their children or let someone else and go back to work. This decision can play a toll on many aspects of a women’s life from economical to psychological. The thought of only taking care of your child day in and day out is not delightful for all women. Some people no matter male or female want to do the “stay at home” career and take care of their children and some find it necessary to have their own career for them and the rest of the household. I know my mother has always been a stay at home mom and I would not have it any other way. Now my dad has never been home, he works away a month at a time so me and my mother know life no other way. This is not the case for most families, the male comes home from work around  5 or so and gets to see his family everyday… why can’t the tables be turned and the mother gets put in that situation. Society has placed stipulations on what a functioning family is and its ridiculous.
