A Day Without Feminism

After reading A Day Without Feminism by Jennifer and Amy, this was interesting by informing on how feminism is being treated and how it is used in the world each day and what women have to go through. I liked how it felt like it was just a direct conversation, not formal because it felt that I understood more about the issues that they were concerned about. They definitely had their audience in mind when they had written this out. Ruling out that women can’t do sports as boys do, or attend certain colleges, and other important factors is surprising that some still does go on still to this day. When Amy and Jennifer discuss about how girls are kicked out because they are pregnant, yet it has no factor to the boys and are not kicked out. Another issue is how women are placed or viewed as being in careers that would pertain to them because they are viewed as not being capable for higher jobs. Women have come a long way and have proven that they are capable of anything they put their minds into. Society needs to realize that women should be treated equally and can be proven to the people.
