My Fight for Birth Control

I have chosen to write about My Fight for Birth Control by Margret Sanger, because until reading this article, I have never really given birth control a lot of thought; I’ve seen it as something that has just always been around.  Although it is a sad article, it demonstrates the need for birth control and the importance for women to have reproductive rights.  If Mrs. Sacks could have been given options to prevent another pregnancy should wouldn’t have died.  This is only one example, but this is a situation that was happening to many women during this time.  I am so thankful I live in a world today where I have the choice of birth control, and will not have to worry about a fatal pregnancy like Mrs. Sacks.

Women should have their reproductive rights.  It is their bodies and they should be able to choose to what happens to them. To take birth contol or not, and to have children or not.  Women should be able to enjoy sex without living in constant fear of becoming pregnant and it taking a tole on their bodies.
