Invisible War

At first as I was watching Invisible War, much didn’t seem different about the atmosphere with women in the different branches of the service. Then they started to show how the men in their branches treated them. Basically like “meat”and that they were there for their satisfaction. It is so sad and disheartening to see that women cannot try to break down the gender barrier without men taking advantage of them. You see in the film how many politics are involved and how easy it is for them to brush this under the rug and treat it as a minuscule problem. Treating women like children and acting as if they have no feelings, insinuating that they ASKED to be raped and beaten brutally by these perpetrators, makes you want to tell everyone you know not to join the service of any kind. It is disgusting in the smallest of words. These men basically ruin any quality of life these women could ever hope for and they get rewarded of all things. The problems these women face for their entire lives is vastly outnumbered by the lavish promotions and treatment these men receive in return.
