The Invisible War

I was amazed by those women’s stories. Though I felt bad for the women, the also inspired me. They express their struggles and worries, but they also fought through their pain to support their cause. One of the things that impacted me the most was how not only the women suffered, but their families did as well. The husbands of the women now have to face intimacy issues with their wives because of something someone else did. Also, the parents of the victims feel guilty for not being able to protect their children, which must be very painful. Also, the testimony of the abused man really shocked me. It opened my eyes to fact that a rapist is willing to use anyone they can get their hands on in order to abuse them.

After watching the film it left me being really disappointed with our military. It makes me sick to think that administrators care more about their image more than their soldiers who are willing to die for them. Hopefully, the federal government can put a stop to this and extinguish the fear the abused victims feel for others who are wanting to join the military.
