Out of all the movies that we have watched in class this semester, I would have to say that I liked Invisible War the most. Primarily because it is such a major issue that many people don’t really know anything about, at least I didn’t. The movie is such a huge eye opener for military staff to get there shit together and address the situation at hand, instead of continuously letting it subside, or even blaming the victims themselves. I believe the statistic was approximately 25% of women in the military have reported being raped and/or sexually harassed; this excludes the number of women that did not report the incident. It astounds me that an individual that fights for our country is treated so indecently by fellow soldiers. What’s worse, is that almost no action has been taken to rectify the situation.
